Eliminating carbon emissions will require switching from vehicles and heating methods that burn fossil fuels to those that use electricity. We’ll need to increase our electrical power capacity while we move away from sources of power that generate carbon and pollution. 

The first step towards a clean power grid is understanding where we are today and where we need to go in the years to come. The Grid Visualizer provides state-by-state listings of each power plant in the country along with their estimated carbon emissions. This tool will help you understand the changes required in your state to get to a carbon-free electrical grid.
